Another day goes by where a greater percentage of the world’s population wakes up and smells the Harris Dickinson-scented roses. Screen-stealing turns in Triangle of Sadness, The Iron Claw and 2023’s Scrapper have generated the buzz that’s set to amp up when Babygirl hits cinemas next month, in which his and co-star Nicole Kidman’s performances have already been praised by critics. Just like his ability to play an ever broadening range of characters, his taste in luxury fake watches are equally spicy.

At GQ Men of the Year, Dickinson dove into the watchy goodness available at London’s Kettle Kids, the watch and jeweller headed up by brothers Harvey and Jacob Hutson. For the occasion, the actor strapped a best replica Rolex Day-Date to his wrist, but not any old one – a vintage 36mm Presidential with a Stella Oxblood stone dial. Rather than going for the newest, hypiest watch, the Babygirl actor’s choice to go for a vintage piece is unpredictable, and says a lot about his personality and interests – as well as him and his team’s appreciation of high quality copy Rolex’s history. According to founder of The Vintage Watch Company, David Silver, the Stella Dial Day-Date is “The epitome of laid back elegance.”

At 36mm, it clocks in on the smaller end of things, which makes the watch feel quieter despite its blingy material makeup. “I don’t really approach Swiss replica Rolex watches very often when it comes to red carpet dressing, it’s no secret that it’s often not a choice made organically by a stylist or an actor,” says Dickinson’s stylist, Ben Schofield. “Unless it’s a piece that my talent really loves I often don’t consider a watch for a red carpet. That’s why I liked the idea of Kettle Kids so much for this, they have such amazing and rare vintage pieces that you’re able to look across brands, and at multiple different styles to find something that really works.”

Dickinson’s cheap super clone watches are from the ‘80s, which works really well with the boxy, brown pin-stripe suit he had going on. “He’s wearing a brown suit, so the gold bracelet and oxblood face complement the suit and vice versa,” says Schofield.
